Story I heard was a little different. It was a done deal with CRR but Sexton called Coach Moore and told him he could have Saban, just had to be patient and wait until Miami's season was over. coach Moore then decided to give it another shot with Saban, called RR and told him Bama was retracting the offer and worked it out so it looked like RR declined.
