Hows the Hilton Garden in Kenner (sp?) close to the Airport? Anyone else staying there?

A lots of rooms will come up after cancellation date.
Start checking after Christmas and 7 days out.
Should get some discounts compared to prices today.
Call the hotel directly for best deals.

Kenner is not a bad place to stay, and near the airport will be fine... It is just not the place you want to hang out and party and certainly not be drunk. I have lived in New Orleans and even had an office in the Kenner area. You are about 20 minutes to get into the quarter, there will be flat rate taxi's to get you in and out of the quarter as if they were going to the airport maybe 30 bucks. Others are right there may be some last minute cancellations so I would keep checking for just the mere factor of ease of use, but you won't have to change because of bad location. There is just not much to do, although there is a Casino in Kenner. Hope this helps
