All I know is RF keeps singing that Crimson tune and that's good enough for me. I would like to have AK and TM but assure me RF and I could lose on the other 2 and be quite happy. Bring'em all though Foster!!!

As for asking for my stats, let's see yours at each of the 24 positions on the field. If you don't produce them, you aren't allowed to have opinions about college football. See how easy that is?

Here is a pertinent question: do you believe that Zach Maynard would be on scholarship at Cal if he hadn't coincidentally once occupied the same uterus as Keenan Allen?

Do I think he would have been on schollie without his brother? No. But do I think they are glad they have a starting qb considering he is better than what they have. Yes.

The only reason I said to state your stats is b/c you called the kid a scrub. Anyone can have an opinion but to have such a strong opinion you should have some sort of credentials. B/c as it stands the kids starts at a Pac 12 school and accounted for over 20 tds last year.

Wrong. I didn't say he wasn't worth it. At Cal, Allen definitely brings enough value to justify spending an extra scholarship on his scrub brotther. You're the one who hijacked the thread, arguing against the obvious fact that he is a scrub.

You hijacked the thread by calling Maynard a scrub. Which had absolutely nothing to do with what we were talking about. I said maynard and allen were a package deal. Which was exactly what the rest of us were talking about.

By the way. His scrub brother is the starting qb. Now I will ask you. How is the starting qb on your team not worth a schollie? He is the starter. Better than anyone else at that position.

I answered that there are plenty of examples of bad quarterbacks who are starters because the team as a whole sucks or the depth chart at the position sucks. He wasn't worth a scholarship without his brother. You intimated that you agreed.

Again, try to focus. I said this situation is different because none of those guys is carrying his brother along with him. That was directly relevant to the topic. Your lovefest with Allen's sucky-quarterback brother is clouding your thought process here and causing you to hijack a thread with an argument over an opinion that no one shares with you.

its all relative. brandon avalos' son could be the starter at cal if he was the best option they had. im sure he wouldnt be able to cut it, but thats a poor reflection on the recruiting efforts of the cal staff. maynard is garbage, but he is the starter because he is their best option
