He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the New England Patriots in 2006, but was released in the preseason due to concussion issues. When I spoke to him in the summer, he told me he still occasionally suffers side-effects from the concussions.

One of his first coaching positions was coaching LBs for Coach Granger at Talladega. Good to see he has already made such strides. Go get him Freddie.
