He'll come for the simple reason there are more opportunities that arise for CNS staff. Bottom line. 3rd time at UM- things have to seem too familiar w/ not much potential now.

Look, Miami loyalists( the few haha) are always on edge that Golden could leave. The reality is that Golden is a great coach who has been through hell and back with Miami. And the thought is how long will he continue to be committed. Now, with that, most true Canes are completely comfortable with Cristobal coming in after Golden. He's a GREAT rexruiter and is a strict disciplinarian. His fiu tenure and subsequent firing is appalling and sheds light on how pathetically run FIU is. Not his coaching ability. Or their view of "lack there of".
So Miami fans are concerned to say the least that they will be left high n dry if Golden does leave in a year or 2.
A logical fan told me he loves that Mario could go and hone his coaching ability at Bama and under Saban. And as he said: cristobal, if offered, would run backwards to Coral Gables when that day comes. So he sees this as I do. Only good for Bama and Miami.
Just trying to throw a little mindset info at y'all who don't get the canes news like we do in palm Bch county.
