I know that the majority of people on this board (including me) have complained about how terrible Bama shot the ball this year, but is it really a case of bad shooters or having to take bad shots. I know that the deeper an offense gets into the shot clock the more chance there will be to force a bad shot. My concern is our offense becomes stagnat and we have to force up shots that we have no choice to take because of the shot clock. I would guess that 40 to 50 percent of our shots this year were taken when the shot clock was inside 10 seconds. While I feel our future is bright I am concerned with recruiting this year. It seems that we all our eggs in the Devonta Pollard basket and if we don't get him ( I would still be shocked if he went anywhere other than Miss. St) we will be left out. We need another inside body who can score and defend and we need a SF who can score and defend as well.
