I get ya. However, I won't lie; I'm a little tormented myself when it comes to the Jelks thing. On one hand, he sold us out. On the other, he is one of the first players I remember and was one of my favorites.

Jelks was too slight in build for an NFL running back. He wasn't even the best rb at Bama. Db was the right place for him.

Wasn't there a poster on TOS whose dad was caught up in that during his divorce? IIRC, had something to do with checks and the ex-wife's attorney (Stump Thrower?) got disbarred for bringing them into the case? Thinking it was Fayeilding or however it's spelled. Edit, found the story.

Did you post about it a few years ago on the old BOL? Could've sworn it was Fayeilding.
