Not sure if he's serious. Of course, that's what everybody thinks when Gene's mouth is moving.

If I were Coach Curry, I would've at least had him step through a metal detector before I'd agree to see him. I know that CBC's too good a guy to do it, but he should've pimp-slapped Gene instead of hugging him. Coaches shouldn't be expected to wring their hands over re-assignments decades after the fact, especially when the subject made it to the league. Their job is to do what's best for the team and, sometimes, mistakes will be made.

Gene is a lying dirt bag that would fit right in at the barn.
