  • Grant has some serious issues. He recruited these guys and I can't believe discipline issues just now show up. You have the entire off season to address these issues. We won't be able to sign any Kid after this crap aired on national tv.

    I don't disagree with him suspending them. I am wondering why he was forced to do it now and I don't see how that is saving the team when a third of the people he is trying to save are in Tuscaloosa not Baton Rouge.

    Once again i'm for the suspension. I just don't see it as a positive thing.

  • My real issue with the situation is that, if I'm not mistaken, all these are CAG's guys except Green who he inheirited.

    Get the downvotes ready... I feel like we sound exactly like *uburn on signing day... If we can't be the best, we'll lose with high character guys... He's had the entire season to get the team under control...

    It is CAG job to WIN with high character guys not lose with high charcter guys...

    Just for some perspective... In CAG's 3rd year we went from starting the season ranked 13th to unranked with 4 starters suspended and watching our tournament hopes disappear quicker than a fart in the wind...

  • This isnt Green's first rodeo with suspensions.... One has to wonder if it is him that is rubbing off on the younger ones, or the younger players acting like him. Really hoped Green would step up and be a leader this season. You cant fault Grant for this, kids are going to be kids, but its time for Green to grow up. Hope Grant sends a message loud and clear and gets his team to buy in and develop the right mentality.

    It's WAY past time for Green to grow up. As it's his second (or third...I've lost count) suspension, he should be gone.

  • This is serious stuff. By my count, within the last seven days we have had 4 starters kicked off the team for awhile. Huge. Not sure what is going on with this team and their coach.

    This a load of crap. You don't want to recruit the kind of kids that this situation would run off anyway. Green and Mitchell being gone hurts us talent-wise but helps attitude of the team in my opinion. Those two are cancers. Steele is very surprising but I can see releford following the other two. I will assume these suspensions are legitimate and support the coach and program until There is proof something else is going on. Just think how much these young kids will grow up through this experience and how tough they will be in the coming years. Roll Tide!
