I would have done it the same way, with two exceptions.....

1. I would have stopped the 'heh..heh..heh' a LOT sooner than I did...I only did that because it aggravated the hell out of the Awbun trolls, who were signing up in mass to attack every thread...heh..heh..heh.. was meant ONLY for Awbun trolls...what I did not foresee was new Bama people signing up, OR long standing Bama people not understanding why I did it to begin with, and pissing them off as well...

2. Paying attention to ANYONE who uses the term E-Cred....I have been posting for years...and the guys who know me are aware of my track record...When I first started posting, people shared info...NO ONE..AND I MEAN NO ONE used that term....we were ALL Bama brethren, who enjoyed reading and sharing about The University of Alabama...but a new breed of poster started to emerge about 5 years ago, and their sole purpose is to attack....this causes short tempers, and arguments...and good posters would either slow down or quit altogether...I was dumb enough to think I could ride it out, and these guys would eventually stop...I finally all but quit about three months ago...just tired of always being on the defensive.....

I am at a complete loss for the lack of cojones concerning the NCAA....

There were a few times...A FEW...where I was hearing the same thing as other people, and joined those threads...

I get info from people with impeccable reputations and wonderful track records....and they are my friends...relationships of twenty years or longer.....

Some of them told me it would be hard as hell to prove....but ALL OF THEM gave me info regarding wrong doing by the Barn....

Common sense tells you Newton was bought....SOME people happen to be in situations where they know something transpired...but proof of what happened was the bitch....

My main problem was disregarding this...Alabama had their dick knocked in the dirt over circumstantial evidence, and the testimony of a vindictive sports writer and a private Fat Phil witness.....Cecil ADMITTED to shopping his kid..so SURELY the NCAA would drop the hammer...

If Awbun does completely skate, my advice to Coach Moore and ANY FUTURE AD's is..tell the NCAA to prove anything they accuse us of...and to NEVER, EVER self report a damn thing again....

Once again...I apologize for any arguments I had with the E-Cred bunch, and it was never my intention for the 'heh..heh..heh..' to aggravate anyone other than trolls...

But...I believe what I shared....I believe the people who shared with me were on target...and I would have done it the same way again minus the above exceptions....

It is MY OPINION that the crumbling NCAA is trying to restore normalcy...trying to keep a foothold...before super conferences are formed, along with their own governing body..and those Indianapolis pricks are left with the likes of UNA and Jax State...

Its nice to come here and man up. And, I totally understand what you are saying. I found the laughter and saw the reason for why you were coming across as you did. You did allow some of the immature pricks to cause you to lose your compass. A significant part of the people that came onto the site in the last 5 years are from a different generation of BAMA fans and others are *U fans with the time, desire and a shit-for-nothing life that want to be disruptive in ALL things Crimson & White.

A lot of people were hearing the same stuff from reputable sources and those clearly whose business is to know these kind of things. During all of this crap, I heard it and agreed with what you and others stated. However, I ALWAYS knew that the fly in the ointment was getting someone intimately involved to TURN into a Jelks or Ramsey or a LOGAN YOUNG-like scenario needed to happen. Thus far, it has NOT happened to date. So, the NCAA simply released a statement that allows *U to continue their ways with a LETTER of REFERENCE from the NCAA for any recruits. They did NOT slam the COFFIN lid shut, lower the casket and throw dirt on top. NOPE! They simply placed this JOHN DOE back into the cooler until a next of kin or someone comes and IDENTIFIES the body. This has now turned into a COLD CASE. People bashing you guys are not paying attention to the fine print in that media release. I, for one, am glad because I felt all along that this STORY needed to be left along by the masses while the NCAA did their thing.

And you are right about something else. AUBURN did the best thing in their best interest. DO NOT turn yourself into the NCAA. Make them prove everything with evidence that is airtight for a successful defense in a court of law. EVERY college in the country learned this from ALABAMA's case.

Some of you members on the BOL Round Table are so self-righteous and consumed with this college football stuff that it makes you behave and think like imbeciles or worse. You guys were seeking attention-whore status too with your daily ritual of calling others out and keeping tabs and saving messages. That seems like *U behavior to me. Get over yourselves and this ridiculous NON-ISSUE. I feel the same way I did when this stuff started.

I LOVE the UNIVERSITY of ALABAMA and ALL of its history and programs--good and bad. I believe in it. I think Auburn is a good academic institution that serves the my home state of ALBAMA very well. But, I also am a realist. I know that the UNIVERSITY of ALABAMA and some of its athletics programs are not pure as the driven snow. However, I do NOT think we have a SYSTEM or MECHANISM that concerns itself with circumventing and outright breaking NCAA rules.

As for *U, I will forever believe that a CORE group of UNCONTROLLABLE people feel so strongly that they MUST and NEED to achieve equal footing with ALABAMA on ALL fronts, especially football. This same group of people will do anything to accomplish that goal. This is their mission in life and it will be their legacy for others to follow until that goal is achieved.

Finally, like most people in the college football world, I feel strongly that *U cheated to obtain the opportunity to compete for and win last season's BCS championship. I can speak with authority and conviction on it. Because in the past, I saw the stuff up close and personal. I even benefited from the system. The problem with *U is that they do not have anybody with INTEGRITY or GOOD MORALS/VALUES in a strong enough position to change the culture or remove the forces behind their corruptible behavior. However, you cannot get away with it forever...AND they WON'T.

Now, back to the 2011 season! Its looking GREAT! Hopefully, we can sustain any injuries or bad plays that might occur and make it to the BCS Championship Game in New Orleans. Roll Tide Roll!!!
