He got out coached. Period. And it was bad. All those jokes about Les Miles aren't so funny right now.

Saban outcoached himself.

We ran out of passing formations and passed out of run formations to the point that we lost.

Saban didn't trust our team to line up and beat our opponent straight up. He thought we had to be fancy to win. That's coaching.

I love Saban and hope like hell he learns that you don't always have to fool your opponent to gain an advantage.

I agree profusely. We beat LSU the entire game but gave them around 150 yards on stupid decisions. 2 for 6 on FGs while LSU punting us inside our 20, then putting immobile Maze back to field a punt when he can't move. Lastly, I am so sick and tired of 5yd losses on runs due to continually doing sideways runs out of shotgun.

Absolutely got out coached. Two years in a row. He may be a rock star. But, Miles has made better in game play calling for the last two years straight. And guess what, Miles isn't going anywhere and they are only going to be better next year.

The fact that he hasn't makes it Saban fault.

Saban says that he has the final say in the offensive game plan. Our gameplan on offense sucked.
