    Just stop it. Anyone who has watched any basketball knows you're not gonna get a game deciding foul called unless its completely blatant. A lot worse than a touch on the follow through.

    If you want to be mad be mad about the fact we are chucking up a desperation 3 down by 1 point because we burned half the clock trying to call a time out.

    I would call a foul affecting a guy to shoot it 6 foot short is blatant enough to be called no matter what the situation is in the game. And the play call was not a fade away 3 he was trying to get to the hoop,but the defender actually played great D and cut him off so he had no choice but to take the shot that was available,but that foul was definitely worth calling my god he shot it 6 feet short and didnt come close to blocking it

Like Pedro said you're confusing the world as you wish it was with how it actually is. Like it or not there is not a ref in America that puts us on the foul line on that play.

    You dont think that was blatant? The ball got half way to the rim and changed rotation. It was a foul and they didnt call something that would have been called 99 out of 100 times throughout the game. Refs make judgement calls all the time after the ball is shot. This one punked out today and swallowed his whistle.

    I realize the play call wasnt a fade away 3, LOL. But guess what, that's what we got. Whether it was blatant enough to be called is debatable, but lets not pretend a foul with 10 min to go is the same as 4 seconds left as the OP is trying to do. We all know it's not.

  • never gonna get that call...we lost b/c we went into lazy mode up 11 and let them come back. Poor defense and no offensive movement in the time follwing that lead cost us much more than a non-call on a desperation 3. (it was a foul, i agree...) We lost when jaymichael green and jacobds played lazy as hell under the basket on defense giving up points and offensive rebounds off free throws. That is why we lost. (not to mention the disappearance of Lacey in the 2nd half)

  • He was fouled but this is what happens when your team becomes scared to shoot the ball. We passed up many wide open threes in the second half and went back to our usual stagnant offense. You can't be scared to shoot the ball with the lead or you will blow that lead and that's what happened. This is what happens when you have to rely on the referees. Win the game yourself and keep it out of the ref's hands. The refs didn't lose that game, we did.

    We played a great game but we weren't ready to win it. The offense needs to get better next season if we want to get back to the tourney and win a game or two.
