I remember back in the day, if you wanted a championship fantasy football team, you would draft Shaun Alexander. He always got to the end zone. He had 5 TDs in one half in the NFL! That's crazy.

I hope so because he had Shawn setting behind the loud mouth Ricky Waters for a couple of years until RW got hurt & he had to play Shawn. Once Shawn started playing it was clear to everyone he was a lot better than RW & I think RW moved on after the season & Shawn was the starting RB.

I remember this. Shaun was in the dog-house a lot for stuff like this. Shaun was an amazing runner but I definitely agree that Trent is a more *complete* back.

The only thing that worries me is Trent's longevity. I know he's a beast but all the athletes in the NFL are just sick. It's just a matter of simple physics that the magnitude of the hits these guys take are increasing as the players themselves get bigger and faster and more explosive. Shaun was very good at not taking the big hits and he still hit the wall at age 29 (I don't know how well Shaun took care of his body). Emmitt Smith imo was also quite good at not taking the big hit even though he was a power runner and got hit a lot. The *only* thing that will stop Trent from being an All-Pro is if he's slowed down by injuries. He has the skills to have a better pro-career than Shaun and I know he will take very good care of his body.
