  • A bunch of grown ass men ridiculing and rubbing in the fact a few were wrong. As much as you call them attention whores for having their followers what are you trying to prove? That you want attention for pointing out their short comings.

    Pot calling the kettle black......

    It made for good reading and everyone involved feels the need to draw party lines. Why make all this mess in the middle of a dream season? Some of our fan base is pathetic for worrying about anything and everything to do with our team and what people say or think related to it other than the fact that we are the most dominating force to hit a field in quite a few years.

    Maybe. But if nothing else they need to be called out for trashing this board and the old BOL with Auburn talk for months on end. There were days when I purposely avoided the message boards because I knew it would be dominated with AU crap.

    Disagree. Big difference in being wrong and being FOS. The pot-kettle attention comment is completely off. Do you not recall CC's "heh heh heh" posts or jawa's "Imagine" threads? Those two turned their "insider info" into a production. Glad it's over.

  • Health is great. Better than it's been since I can remember. I know the insiders were wrong now. But it seems people are rejoicing in that fact which is a little sad to me. Maybe I'd rather be positive but I don't like piling on and creating a mob mentality.

    My tide is playing better football than they have since I've been alive. We have Miami early 2000's talent. And it's only looking better and brighter in the future. I want to discuss that!

    Oh, then I'm assuming you never read any of the "imagine" threads, where anybody who wasn't willing to offer suggestions as to which team would replace auburn when they were to be kicked out of the SEC "weren't true bama fans".

  • Let me reword, I wouldn't say people were banned due to being skeptics...But those openly critical of insiders were labeled as "barner trolls" were called out and berated until they reacted and were subsequently banned, a while those who initially berated were allowed to stay. So yes I would say there was somewhat of a bias towards those that got banned due to the fact that the majority of the site was made up of believers and those who didn't believe were berated until they crossed the line and banned. I just didn't think it was fair all the time.

    If it makes you feel better, I can think of several of the insiders or pro-insiders crowd who were banned (or decided on their own to drop off - unlikely) for engaging in nastiness.

    This is correct. If a thread turned ugly the only people who were getting banned were the doubters. Said this in another thread that was deleted.
