Freitag is our 2nd lowest recruit in this class--Katie, bar the door! Something awesome is coming your way. And the

This. Our class this year is so strong that a really could player may appear average relative to the others in this class. It's the same with our team. Many of our backups would be starters else ware.

I think TE's are always undervalued on recruiting sites. I actually went to high school with Richard Dickson who use to be the TE at LSU from 06-09 who had two td's in LSU's last national championship in 07 vs Ohio State. I believe he was only a low 4 star on rivals that year, but turned out to be the team captain his senior and wore number 18 which signifies a team captain at LSU. Freitag looks like a Richard Dickson kind of guy to me.

The reason he is a 3 star is because he is not 6-6 250 & runs a 4.5 40. I agree with you that Freitag is a very important recruit & a very good football player. I think he will be a more physical Dial type of player with better size. He is a tough gritty football player that will knock your head off & he has good hands.
