What’s been the general reaction of your teammates about starting play this coming season in the SEC?
TJ Moe: Everybody is excited. There aren’t a lot of players who can say they played in two conferences. I’ve been asked almost every day for 10 months about what I thought it would be like playing in the SEC. I’ll finally be able to answer that question after this season. I know a lot of people say that the SEC is the dominant conference, and I think that’s debatable. Yes, they’ve won six straight national championships. But if Colt McCoy doesn’t get hurt so early (against Alabama in 2009), Texas wins that game and maybe wins it handily. And this year, Oklahoma State didn't even get the opportunity to play in the game. What I do know is that you have to bring it week in and week out in the SEC.
I hope mr. Moe gets asked this same question in week 14. Too bad these guys don't get to play in the West.
"The Lord just wasn't with us, Coach."
"The Lord," grumbled Bryant, "expects you to block and tackle."
Rick Bragg, August 8, 2012
He is going to figure out those 5 yard out routes he runs don't work in the SEC. If he makes it to our game I predict somebody knocks his block off.
Wins it handily? Wow. Wow.

If you dreamed you were a sleep and you woke up, would you be awake?
Huh. Wonder if he knows what Bama does to spread teams. Good luck buddy
Who is he debating with?
I thought Missouri was thought well of academically...Or maybe they will let anyone in who plays football.
WOW! I bet his coach is duck taping his mouth as we speak!
Colt McCoy isn't the reason Texas gave up two different 100 yard rushers and 4 rushing TDs.
moe - sounds like one of the 3 stooges
I guess that's the difference between the big 12 and the SEC. We have a player that tears his acl in the first quarter of the season. He not only finishes the season on the knee but doesn't even lose a step. Texas has a player with a numb shoulder and he bows out in the most important game of his life.
TRADITION IS THE FOUNDATION GREAT PROGRAMS ARE BUILT UPON.
This makes one more tiger to put in it's place.
Losing doesn't make me want to quit. It makes me want to fight that much harder-Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant
LOL Colt could not take a HIT. I had this same conversation today with my Dentist here in Texas. She was at the game. She said, I could have handed the ball off to Ingram all night long myself like Bama's QB did. I said really, could you have played with two cracked ribs, Dial with a broken bone in his foot and I think our center Valahos (spelling sorry) did also along with Rolando McClain with a stomach virus for two days. Do you really think you would have beaten us now? She said NO. I did not know all of that. I said yes they all played and they never quit. Roll Proud Tide Roll.
