We don't need to open ourselves up to any potential NCAA investigations.Let Pearl stay on ESPN. Other than get UT in trouble, what did he do so special. Let's give CAG one more year to see what he does in recruiting. I think the problem is that he hasn't built any depth. 8 scholarship players, really???

Correct and wise

We need depth, but more importantly, we need an inside presence. We are a completely different team if we can establish an inside presence. As fans who don't really support basketball in any event, I think giving him more time is the right call. Can't just whine and never show up for games (not talking about everyone, but many of us are fair weather when it comes to supporting the team and you can't get a top-tier coach with that level of fan support).

All you guys that look only at the "on-court" element & clamor for the Bobby Petrino's & Bruce Pearl's of the world, simply don't get it. Bama always has & always will stand for more than just W's. CHARACTER still means something. I want wins more than anyone but not at the expense of CLASS & INTEGRITY.
I'm not thrilled with our results but I greatly respect the way Grant, much like Saban, is trying to build men of character. He understands the foundation has to be laid before you reap the results. He's focused on the PROCESS!
Those of you that don't understand that this is the foundation that leads to the long-term success we all desire, need to invest in a John Wooden book ASAP.
Pearl & Petrino always have and always will be guys looking for shortcuts and more about themselves than the team. It's all begins with CHARACTER & SELFLESSNESS FOR THE TEAM. Bear Bryant, John Wooden & Nick Saban all knew this and were successful because they lived it, breathed it, taught it & focused on the PROCESS!!! RTR
