^^^This. Dee Hart is back to running full speed and practicing (limited) after tearing his back in July I believe. The severity of tears vary, so do individual healing times, but I wouldn't expect him to miss next year. Hubbard also tore his during the spring and is playing now.

12 months? Not with today's medicine and procedures. When Don'ta tore his up, he was back under the bar doing squats by January, and he tore it in late September. Even Dee Hart is able to run again already, and has been for a couple of weeks now.

Cyrus will be fine for next year so long as it's treated appropriately and rehabbed at the proper pace.

Of course this is assuming he's out, because I don't think anything official has been put out there unless I completely missed it (which is likely).

Can't comment on whether or not he actually tore his ACL or not, but I echo what the others have said about recovery time. Unless something completely bizarre happens, he'd definitely be back by fall practice next year.

Obviously I hope he's OK, but if he did tear it we and he are lucky he did it now instead of during bowl practice or spring practice next year. They have no reason to try to rush him back if it did happen so he can take plenty of time to get right. He wouldn't be back before this season is over with and they probably wouldn't try to do too much in spring, giving him almost a full 10 months to get better. Plenty of time.

(If I recall correctly, Donta tore his the last weekend in September and was moving around fine in spring the following year, but didn't go through 100 percent contact as a precautionary measure.) Everyone's timeline is different, but even for a big guy he should be good to go. I played OL and tore mine, including cartilage - which lends a longer recovery time because you can't immediately put weight on your leg after surgery - and it still only took me about 6 months to be back lifting, running, etc.

When did that happen. I can't believe I missed it.

I know Alex Watkins tore his ACL, but I'm 100% sure Hubbard didn't.

I very well may be. I asked someone else and they also said Hubbard but we could both be wrong. Either way a defensive player had an ACL tear in the spring and is playing.

Jones hasn't said for sure he is leaving to NFL has he??
