Possibly, considering how bad the league is and I would be willing to bet we have one of the easiest if not the easiest league schedule. Finishing second isn't going to matter if we still have have a RPI in the 50s or 60s and multiple horrible losses.

IMO, our final standing in the SEC will have zero effect on our chances of making the tourney. It's all about wins and RPI. If we go undefeated the rest of the way, we will finish no worse than 2nd, and while we will likely make the tourney, it will be because of the record and not the SEC standings.

I think we do finish second. I think we get left out too though. If we finish second and make the finals of the sect, we will still be on the bubble.

It doesn't matter where we finish in the league. It is more about other numbers the NCAA looks at like RPI, SOS, bad losses, good wins, etc.
It isn't as simple as saying finish 2nd we are in.

We probably need to win 2 games in the tourney, which would put us in the SEC final, that means we would have beat Missouri, Kentucky, or Ole Miss in the 3rd round with the 2 vs 3 matchup.
