On October 13th, 2012 South Carolina will roll up to Baton Rouge wih either a 5-1 or 6-0 record and face a most likely undefeated LSU team. Who else thinks Spurrier can pull another one out of his hat like he did against us in 2010?
For some reason I just think SCAR wins this one. I know the game won't be in Columbia, but with Lattimore healthy that should give them a chance to run the ball and with Clowney and company they should be able to stop the run.
If they don't win, I think it will be a very close game. And no one is talking about this game. I'd rather LSU be undefeated when we play them but who knows, the gamecocks may beat them before we do.
Anyone else think they have a chance? What are SCAR's chances in this one? Just wanting to talk a little football on a slow day...

South Carolina will have a defense that will keep them in any game, and if LSU's offense is as bad as last year USCe has enough defense to shut them down. I have no idea where Latt will be at that point in time, but if he is 100% they have a chance. So to answer your questions, yes they have a chance, if the line was over 6 i would take USCe.

I would tend to agree with you here. LSu could be sleeping on this game. They have revenge on their mind. And with A&M the week after Carolina, they are set up for failure.

If South Carolina is 5-1 or 6-0, LSU will be fully prepared for them. Truthfully I want LSU to be undefeated when we play them. I think SCe keeps it close for 3 quarters but LSU will pull away in the 4th quarter.
Anything is possible in the SEC

I don't know, LSU's offense was pretty good except vs us and the first half vs UGA. That is the kind of game I could see the Spurriers playing over their heads and winning.
LSU should have a pretty stout running game and if Mettenberger is serviceable they will be a tough out for anyone. Legit top 5 team IMO. If Lattimore is healthy USCe will be top 10 probably

I would love for South Carolina to pull it off. Better chances of us going to the sec Championship if they can pull it off!!

That's something I was thinking about as well. It could benefit us BIG TIME if this happens. LSU could lose two games this year but I believe we may only lose once. We shall see...
