I'm going out on a limb here

  • If Jones projects at C, he will not be a high first round pick. Centers don't get those spots.

  • If I had to select a guy at this very moment I'd go with Milliner.

Coached by CNS with Patrick Peterson-like combine numbers as he'll probably be one of the bigger CBs and 1 of if not the most explosive (in terms of 40, vertical, and standing broad jump).

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

  • No. DJ Fluker is easily the top prospect on our team. He's projected at either the #1 or #2 left tackle in the country. That gets you top 10 pretty much all the time.

Pouncey was drafted as a center @ #15 overall by the Dolphins just 1 draft ago.

    B. Jones can easily be taken in the 1st. He legitimately has dominated at every position on the OL in his career, will be a 3x AA @ 3 different positions, won the Outland trophy, and is extremely smart.

This post makes no sense. He plays RT for a reason and if he projected like that on the next level he would be our LT now.

If so, why isn't he our LT now?

Because Cyrus is a better LT but he can not leave yet,so...

I don't see what's so hard to understand that we have an NFL LT playing RT because he wasn't ready last year (hence BJ) and now because a better NFL LT plays LT.

go look at the mocks. Fluker is pretty much in the top 10 in all of them. WalterFootball has him going 4th.

    Edit

How in the world you can make a case for CK being better than anyone blows mind mind. There isn't enough film to even base that on, he played half a season and is coming off a major knee injury.

I have not seen one mock where he is projected as a LT. The knock in him is that he can't get his size 22's out of the way and projects more as a gaurd.

Well seeing how Fluker has vastly improved his footwork, been prognosticated by guys like Walter and Mayock as being a potential LT in the NFL and being VERY high on mock drafts and is very established, but yet still at RT, I'd have to say CK has something/is doing something right.

Saying CK is doing something right and calling him an NFL LT is two different things. You are reaching trying to say since you've read that Fluker could be playing LT in the NFL, but doesn't play it here, that means that CK is NFL LT now. The fact that he doesn't play it now tells me more about him not being a LT. If we had a better LT we would be putting them there. Until Fluker shows he can handle the speed rush from top level guys, you can't just assume he can.

So you don't see how one person can be better than another person and that latter person still be one of his draft class' top position player?

guards dont project at #4 overall. Fluker is highly coveted in the NFL. 6'6" 345 lbs and can move. whether it be LT or RT, we'll see, but he projects as a tackle. this past draft DeCastro was considered by many the top guard in the country and he went 24th

I don't see how anyone can say a back up true So, that has only played a few games and is coming off major knee surgery, is an NFL ready LT. I don't think there is anything left to say here. I'm done.
