Athens, Georgia, 2008: Fast, All SEC running back, PLUS All SEC quarterback. Nationally ranked opponent at their house. Loud, raucous crowd. Now ask yourself these questions:
1. Is the 2011 defense as good as 2008? While it is still a long season, I think they are better.
2. Is John Brantley in the same zip code as Matthew Stafford? Not even close.
3. Has anyone since 2008 run roughshod over a Saban defense? Not even close. One 100 yard rusher in that time and he got it in small chunks.
4. Has this team shown any inking of backing down in the face of a hostile crowd? Only data is Penn State, which was pretty loud. So far the answer is NO.

In my opinion, Bama will be "coiled and ready to strike." They shut down Rainey and Demps, hit a few intermediate passes early and proceed to impose their will on the Florida defense. I think this could easily resemble the night the lights went out in Georgia. By the beginning of the 4th quarter, the Florida players will be tired of getting hit and those little doubts will begin to creep into their head. By then it will be too late anyway. Bama 31-10
