Nussmeier has been considered an up-and-comer for a little while now, and he was hired away by Washington after just one year at Fresno State. Last year there were rumors about him with the LSU offensive coordinator opening, but Les Miles went with Steve Kragthorpe instead (only to see him have to step down before the season starters).
I huge plus that people aren't talking about is that there probably won't be much of a transition for the players, and except for the wide receivers Alabama gets a lot of guys back on offense.
