Since the recruiting rankings really took off in 2002, it appears that only two number one prospects in the country have won a national championship, anyone want to take a guess on who they are (without looking of course)? Obviously a few have really had a chance yet.

Actually fluker was rated in the 80's as a DT before playing OT his senior year and blowing up. Julio was always top of the pack but never number 1.
