Interesting aspect of the OL coach search...

...is that most of the candidates being mentioned are on the younger side. Saban likes to maintain a balance of younger guys and vets, so perhaps that's weighing into the OL spot. Saban replaced a young guy in Pruitt with a vet in Greg Brown so we may see the reverse of that with the OL vacancy. And, of course, being able to recruit never hurts one's candidacy.

Totally agree. I found that interesting as well, and every single guy has the reputation of being a top-notch recruiter.

Yep. Only thing really missing with these guys is NFL experience. Then again, most of them are still pretty new to the ranks. At least, compared to guys like Pendry and Stoutland.

Also I noticed that 2 of the 3 also have ties to Southern Florida, which CJS also had. Elliot would be the exception of the guys known about.
