I wonder if this committment timeline was sped up with the news of Brandon Hill's trouble getting cleared. If Hill is cleared earlier we still might take Brown but I wonder if it would have been later in the game. We are still early in the process for most Juco's to commit am I right? Usually Jucos are late additions to a class. Saban's track record with Jucos speaks for itself though.

Pretty sure Brown has been a take for the staff no matter what happened with Hill, so I doubt it affected when Brown would announce.

IMO Brown has already proved that he is a self starter & is not a player that will have to be lead to work & he doesn't take plays off on the football field. There is another JUCO OT who's body type is more of an Alabama fit & closer but he does not have the work ethic of Brown. Great pick up Welcome Mr Brown & Roll Tide Roll
