Jeremy Brown -- where are they now?

Just watched Moneyball -- obviously not him in the end footage, but pretty good movie nonetheless. I know Jeremy retired about 3 or 4 years ago but just wondering where he is now. I was a student when the team with Jeremy, Brent Boyd, Scott McClanahan, and so on and so on were crushing the baseball at the Joe. Sure miss those days -- a few more names from my time in Tuscaloosa who were solid players: Lance Cormier, Travis Garner, Peter Stonard (absolutely unreal talent if he could have kept his head on straight).
Still one of my favorite memories from Tuscaloosa was Brent Boyd crushing the walk-off to beat Auburn at The Joe. Place went crazy.

Last I heard he was back in his hometown but might be wrong, haven't kept up with him

Jeremy has a house in oak grove and he works at Jim Walter coal mine.

Travis Garner also lives in Tuscaloosa and is the head Coach at Northridge High School.
Wonder where Peter Stonard is now? He had all the talent in the world, but got kicked off at least 3 teams for drugs (Alabama, SDSU, minor league team)

Nah, just enjoyed watching you and the rest of the gang in your era play. I used to have season tickets and loved going to the Joe and watching the games. Those were fun times and different from today. I remember watching you hit a bomb to dead center field one time. Can't remember who ya'll were playing but I remember it was at night.

I took hitting lessons from jeremy brown in high school when he was playing for the Rockhounds. He was such a funny, down to earth guy. He could do an awesome Jim Wells impression. I talked to him about 2 years ago, he had just gone through a very financially rough divorce, but he was still upbeat, and even gave me a pair of As shorts. Last I heard he was working at a coal mine and teaching hitting lessons on the side.
