Was just listening to ESPN radio on 94.5 on my drive home and guy was arguing that Namath should have never made the Hall of Fame. Unbelievable.

Well he threw a TON of interceptions, more INT than TD passes for his career and a 50% completion percentage. But it was a different game, and he was an incredible talent with a huge monster accurate arm, and still probably one of the top 20 best overall QBs ever.

He should definitely be in the Hall of Fame, but the ranking is probably about right. He wasn't as known for his football talents than he was for his off the field persona. I'm pretty sure he had more career INTs than TDs.
He was "Broadway Joe", the guy that all the ladies wanted, the guy who wore a fur coat on the sidelines, the guy who would go out on the town every night and party with celebrities, BUT he was also a QB who won Super Bowl III.
So yes, he is a Hall of Famer, but I think the ranking is about right...but definitely no lower than 100 for sure.
