They were smart to do it at 6am (CDT) this morning, when they figured college kids would be in bed and hungover...

They had no choice but to do this. I couldn't care less, and neither should we, but for Penn St., this will allow the University to get on with dealing with their REAL problems sooner rather than later...

I think its a good testament that good men are not perfect. I understand the need to remove the statue, but I also see it as an example of no matter how good you are, one large mistake can tarnish all of the good. Poster above is right....no winners and a very sad day.
