Those two long passes on their final touchdown drive couldn't have been placed any better than they were. I definitely didn't anticipate him being to throw the ball as well as he did.

No, "buts." Johnny Football played an incredible game. He's the real-deal. He influenced just about every aspect of that game.

I would play Newton and Tebow two times each to avoid Johnny Football. I watched in person last night one of the most talented qb's to ever take the field. That kid was phenomenal ON THE ROAD AND UNDER PRESSURE. I kept waiting for him to crack in the 4th when we turned the heat up, and he just stayed true to his game and played on.

Defenses can adjust all they want but he will get his in the end. They can be beat but Manziel is truly a special player and hats off to him, period.

His nickname should instead be "the wizard."

I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of watching qb's have career games against Bama. Just saying.

As for Manziel, if that was him on a really, really good day I will take his average day all day long. As someone mentioned earlier, watching that in person was just stunning. I've never witnessed anything quite like it.

On your first point, I don't like it either but let's not pretend it happens very often? It takes excellent QB play to beat us which is why only 7 teams have beaten us in the last like 65 games. If you are going to lose, make the QB beat you and every time we have lost in the past five years it's been against excellent QB play (with the possible exception of LSU in 2011 where it was a great defense and a surprise option attack). If you look at the entire picture and not get emotional about a game or two you will see that opposing QBs have generally had pretty rotten days against UA...the last two weeks notwithstanding. So agree I don't like it either, just don't like or agree with the implication that it is commonplace because it's obviously not.

Manziel made all the correct reads, was aggressive, and beyond surgical with his arm. It's quite possible that he is one of the best players we have ever seen, but I would caution on that a bit and say that it's also quite possible that he will not play well very often. He was on fire accurate and he receivers made plays to help him out, I just don't know if you will see that every week. It's certainly possible though...
