And alot of that accountability has to come from upper classman that are around these guys more. Its one of those deals that doesnt half work. Either your team is disciplined and has leaders (player council) or it doesnt and theres chaos.
And its hard atm for aubarn to have upper classmen leaders when they have the crazy attrition rate they do. And the future doesnt look any better. Qbs are natural leaders but all Pike is going to do is lead them to jail.
But why would we be suprised this is happening with a towel waiving backward hat wearing bafoon heading up recruiting. Not your typical authority figure. More like lets act stupid and party down then hit a lick type character.

I love Moon's response to Mel Mendenhall's(<-- that's a trainwreck of a name, btw) list of Bama player's that have been arrested:
"I seem to have missed the 12 Alabama players arrested in the last year, or even the six arrested in the last six months. That sounds like an excellent column topic. I've looked through court and police records trying to find that info and have come up empty. Could you provide some details?"

Actually, I see that Moon's response was to good ol' Mel's assertion that Bama averages one arrest per month, although Mel did cull together a fine list of arrests that includes Bobby Humphrey, Antwan Odom and Keith McCants. WTF?

Mel Mendenhall will now be my term for a generic know-nothing Auburn apologist who, instead of responding to a criticism of his program, immediately tries to make a criticism about the Bama program with made-up evidence. I bet Mel Mendenhall holds the Lee Co. record for Lego blocks consumed in one sitting.
