From the same NFL clowns that miss 3/4 of the time. Who ever takes Jones will get a good one in all facets and the part about not making the team mates better is laughable. All-American, Outland, Rimington etc etc......yeah that guy can't play.

Sometimes you have to wonder if this information is put out there intentionally to make his stock drop so teams can take him in later rounds. Barrett wasn't even a 100% during his last two games of the season and went up against 1st round DT guys. The result of those battles we all seem to know. The kid played smart and was able to hold his own against those guys.

This is the intangible that's so easily lost these days...Jones is not the best NFL OL prospect out there by a long shot, but his intelligence make him one of the safest picks in the second round...An optimistic team can make the statement that I just drafted one guy that can fill 5 roster spots if I ever need that, and do that with ease.

I agree. He's went against the best of the best for 4 years and I can't remember a game where he didn't hold his own. I think he will be fine. His ceiling might not be as high as some but his bust factor is low too. Especially from a personality/ work ethic standpoint.

And smaller speed rusher's have been his only weakness during his time at Bama. If Fluker had elite feet, and kick-step he woulgone a top 10 pick at LT, but he doesn't so he will be taken as a RT! 90% of the time when Fluker was beat this year, it was by a speed guy, his long arms are what saves him in pass pro! Fluker has been one of my favorites, he is vulnerable to speed guys, but that is about his only fault though.
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
