Be more specific. Where does he have them going?

  • Kiper's mock has Milliner fourth to the Eagles, McShay has him third to the Raiders.

Bigger news to me is that they both have Eddie Lacy going late in the first round, which tells me the perception of him has changed -- as I thought it might.

Alabama's looking at four or five first-round picks again.

  • I don't know why they even bother to do a mock draft anymore. The draft order outside of the top 3-5 picks is based on needs, not on who Dumb and Dumber talk up and expect to be drafted. Every year we get to see Kiper's and McShay's massive fail with draft projections.

    ROLL TIDE!

  • Think we might get 5 this year if EL goes in the first. I really believe as more and more teams watch the film of Fluker he'll become an obvious #1. That leaves Jones or Williams to get in there to get us to 5.

  • Another reason I have Eddie Jackson in my top 5 for this year's class signed.

Seems like Fluke has played his way into the first as far as I can tell. He is definately trending.

  • I really believe Fluker will get into the first round, and i dont see Barrett not getting in there too.

    Corners are in high demand.

    (1) Athletic corners with (2) solid size and (3) great ball skills can grow into top 10 picks. Eddie Jackson has all of those attributes. Still trying to sort out my list, but he's is in my top 5-6 for this class.

For those who were watching it all unfold, Jackson was rated considerably higher than Vonn Bell and many others during the recruiting process. He is highly thought of by the Alabama staff and a prospect that was a top target during the last month of recruiting.

Kid definitely has a nose for then endzone with the ball in his hands...not going to dare compare those skills to that former LSU DB's though out of respect to Jackson.

Wouldn't quite go that far either. Heard PP could hang with Trindon Holliday over 40 yards [Holliday pulls away at 60 & 100] and PP displays that gear when he touches the ball. I need to check out more of Jackson's film.

The facilities, S&C (they really need to be more focused in the weight room in Florida high schools overall) and overall coaching in Central to South Florida is behind ATL metro and much of Texas IMO....but the speed down that way is like "whoa." I learned the hard way one summer back in 1989 when I visited the Palm Beach/Broward County area.

Lot of skinny ankles/long achilles tendons and fast-twitch guys in those parts. If Jackson is rolling-out against those kids.....he's a burner.

Tell people what they want to hear, they will like you. Tell them the actual truth...they may not.

McShay has EL going to Cinci and the birds getting Ertz from Stanford, Kiper has EL going to GB and the birds getting Eifert from ND, so both had ATL going TE in the first round

That makes sense if Gonzalez does in fact retire. He's been one of Ryan's favorite targets.

On an unrelated note, Birds = Eagles. Dirty Birds = Falcons. You're going to confuse people if you call other teams "Birds".

Agreed. I would say my list would probably start like this:

    1) OJ
    2) J Allen
    3) Eddie
    4) Reuben
    5) A'shawn

This is based on needs, how quickly I think they can make an impact, and how unique they are (i.e. OJ brings something that I don't ever recall us having on O).

I am looking forward to seeing what OJ can do about as much as I am Reuben Foster myself

    Atmsrus1

  • 1) OJ
    2) Allen
    3) Henry - we don't know if fowler will be 100% and need someone in that role
    4) 1 of the 4 corners
    5) Robert foster - cant have too many targets
