Definitely kudos to the big man...

He may not have a lot of eyepopping stats, but his mere presence and increased footwork over the last two games have been MAJOR keys to our winning them, at least defensively. Go back and count how many times---due to #4 moving fast, confidently, correctly, and plugging up lanes---a scorer for the other team was forced to make a bad shot, or pass out of a (normally) easy shot. I quit counting after about 10 on the replay. #4 has to get the respect for most improved player over the year, I'd think. He was truly a liability early on, and many didn't think he'd ever be a true SEC center, but he is making the most of his opportunities and working very hard to prove those doubters wrong.
