Yeah.......... Because their offense is AWESOME!

A lot of you guys are reaching for this trash talk thing. Comparing it to Miami is absurd. Its not even close. There is plenty of mutual respect on both sides.

Two things:

1) I think these comments show the mentality of the LSU coaches. It's clear that this is what the team thinks - stop Trent, and stop Bama. While true that Trent is awesome, it's almost like they didn't watch any other game film from the year, which I am perfectly fine with. I hope they really believe that and sell out on the run every time. It would mean passing becomes much easier, and it's not like anyone has stopped Trent all year with the same brilliant strategy, including LSU. Plus, they have been torched by solid passing teams several times this year.

2) Some of us take the whole "talking trash" a bit too seriously. If you need bulletin board material to get up for a national title game, you are likely in trouble anyway. Plus, nothing they have said is even in the ballpark of Miami '92 trash.
