Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Tunsil the one who said he didn't even know where Mississippi was, and didn't know that Ole Sis ran an up-tempo offense???

Pi Phi and Delta Gam doin' work at Ole Miss

LOL if anything I would go with this. Tunsil just got back from a visit that was filled with ELITE prospects (females). With that said I cannot wait for "Imagine 2" to come out.

“Ole Miss is a great place to be,” said Kincade, a Texas native who committed to the Rebels in early July and never wavered on his pledge.

Kincade, one of the nation’s top 2013 dual-threat quarterbacks, admits there were those around him wondering why the highly-recruited Dallas-Skyline prospect would choose to turn his back on offers from high-profile programs inside the Lone Star State and a handful of other BCS schools to play in Mississippi at a place he had never even visited.

He laughs when reflecting back to those days in the summer, shortly after his commitment, when many in Dallas questioned his decision and some in the recruiting world wondered if his commitment would stick.

“I told them Ole Miss was a great place, and they just didn’t believe me,” Kincade explained. “Now they see who is going there with me. Now they see everyone wants to go there. Now they’re all jumping on the Ole Miss bandwagon.”

Apparently Ole Miss has had the makings of an elite football program all along. It just took 122 years for somebody to notice.

You can graduate from high school without knowing where Mississippi is?

I suppose that shouldn't surprise me, but it does.

i'm sure this was taken out of context. and frankly, he probably knows "it's in the south", but honestly, half of our brethren here probably can't pinpoint (without a map, i.e. if they had to draw it themselves) where is Delaware?

1/3 probably doesn't know that Delaware is really a state....

i'm just saying - that doesn't mean he can't be impressed with the grove, school buildings, girls, coach, ability to play day 1, etc....

wish we wouldn't jump to these conclusions.

i for one hope they have the most awesome class they can - just so they can lose to us for 4 more years - proving yet again, we are the dominant program in the country. i.e. you can have all the stars you want, but you ain't going to beat us".

    Roll Tide people!! :)

  • I'm sorry I said y'all are pathetic. That was uncalled for. I don't have tons of time to check out BOL and recruiting coverage and the board was overloaded with cheating accusations. I am a "benefit of doubt" kind of person and pessimism rubs me raw. Sorry for name calling.

Waiting on the Ole Miss apologists to get up in this thread and inform us about how this is completely normal.

You said it!! However, people that have been around this program for years and years "know" there's something fishy going on here. The young ones can yell all they want about -"You don't have any proof..yada.yada..yada". That old saying, "Where there's smoke, there's fire....'nuff said!"

I agree, every time I say this is get down voted. It's so obvious what they are doing a child can tell that they are paying, good grief people open your eyes.

Then you & others underestimate what these coaches get paid to do imho. Recruiting is the life blood of the sport. & if Freeze & others aren't pulling this kind of talent. They aren't gonna have a hope in hell of staying competitive in the SEC. & he will be at a Big East school of worse at his next job! lol

So none of you believe. That a coach like Freeze. Could convince several top recruits to come in & help turn Ole Miss around? WOW! if you truly believe that he couldn't talk some talented teenagers into thinking that?

I believe Freeze could do that about as much as I believed Alabama and Notre Dame would be a good game... Zero.

I just want to make sure I understand what you are saying correctly... The crowd that doesn't believe Freeze can walk into a place like Ole Miss... that is at best the 8th or 9th best team in its own conference and do something no coach has ever done in the history of college football are those that deserve a WOW? Alabama is in the middle of the greatest run in college football history and couldn't do it. Yet, a coach that was at Arkie St. last year and barely went 500 this year can land the 7 of the best players in the nation at a school that has never, ever, ever even came close to that?

So... fans should expect Kentucky and Stoops to land at least 5 5 star kids to play for Kentucky next year b/c he gets paid to do it? I'm only saying 5 b/c Kentucky isn't quite Ole Miss but it is waaaayyyy closer to Ole Miss than Ole Miss is to Alabama and Ole Miss is doing something Alabama and the best coach in the game hasn't been able to do.

    Good analogy cwaters2

Anybody else remember when we were down and out with Shula and we could not get a sniff from a four star unless he was in State or a legacy or some other connection? Well we were down and out but still only 13 or 14 years removed form an NC............and even then we were lightyears ahead of OM's stature now.

So yeah Freeze the dynamic recruiter pulling 5 stars from IL, IN, FL, GA etc etc???? I got some bridges in NYC for sale if any of you OM apologists are interested.
