Marlon Humphrey

  • A famliy member that coaches at Hoover and I were talking football today. He said he was talking to Marlon about his last visit with Saban. It went like this. Said it was real simple:
Coach Saban: Marlon, we want you here. What do you think?
Marlon: Thanks Coach. I want to enjoy the recuiting process. I like Bama but want to take my visits
Coach Saban : Well you have two choices; You can come here and win or you can go somewhere else and get beat. We are going to win with you or without you. Don't come here if you are unsure, because I have a bunch of other 5 star recruits that can start along with you, that want to be here.

My family member said he asked him if it was like that at other schools. He said no way. It's all business with Coach Saban. He's not begging anyone, he doesn't have to because he has the proven track record with his program model.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Coach Saban is the modern day Don Corleone of College Football... O.G.!!!

  • My son is wearing a Bama jacket that Bobby gave him tonight. If Bobby's son doesn't go to Alabama then the world is flat. That family loves Bama.

  • Coach Saban is what's RIGHT with this world. Don't sugar coat to these kids who are fixing to make a grown man decision.

  • Thanks for the info. I love the way CNS puts it out there.

  • From listening to bobby on the radio it sounded like he wishes his other son could walk on at bama once he finishes Juco.

Would be nice. Kids a player. Never understood why he wasn't ranked higher. Grades maybe

Thanks for sharing. That's the same approach Julio says Saban used on him, and he also said that's what ultimately convinced him that he wanted to play for Alabama.

Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
