Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron announced on Wednesday that he would return for his senior season to play for the Crimson Tide.
And there is number 16! RTR
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."

"Quit trying to make a play and do your job!"
Glad he is coming back because of the player he is.
Also happy because of the players he would have given the job to. Not saying they are bad, but we don't know what we have at that position behind him. This gives us another year to develop that position with what we have now and the 2 guys coming in next year.
Hey ROBERT FOSTER!!!
Thank god. This will give Ely, Morris, etc another year in the system and Bateman/McLeod a chance to redshirt.
Wish I could upvote this 100 times. This is HUGE in terms of our ability to make a run at a title next year and allow Morris, Bateman, et. al. to develop before having to step in in 2014.
now it's Saban's turn!!!!
Travis - Do we think this decision will affect either of our QB commits (or target)?
This can't be a serious question
This is a huge plus for next season. Earlier in the season his Dad was encouraging him to turn pro but it looks like the correct decision was made regarding his future. This was the most important get for next season. Thanks AJ.
AJ to Coop is about to rewrite some record books Jack!
Never Gets Old
Thanks, TR. That is GREAT news!
Easily the #1 recruit on our Board. With him, we have a legitimate shot at another BCS, without.......not so much.
I guess the media will wake up on January 8th with the realization that AJ could be the most decorated QB in college football history.
That's if you want to look at things like "wins" and "championships" instead stats.
