I was talking about this with my dad the other day. No one talks about that play because of what came after it. That play was huge. Kelly Johnson stoned Jarvis Jones too. My other favorite from that game were Lacy breaking a tackle with a spin move and taking it down the sideline and Rambo wanting NO part of him so Lacy just ran right at him anyways.

Yeldon also picked up a blitz at the end of the LSU game a play or two before his game winning touchdown. Who knows how that game would have turned out had McCarron gotten hit hard on that play. I don't remember who the LSU player was, but he came through the line clean and Yeldon picked him up at the last possible moment. Not a lot of freshman running backs who could make that play.

Another play people forget about is our last series in the SEC championship game where it looked like Yeldon was going to be forced out of bounds to the boundary side and ended up staying in bounds. That helped us eat about 40 seconds more on the clock, which ended up costing Georgia at least two more plays at the end of the game.

Exactly, this is BOL man! You better come with something much more obscure than Yeldon on third and 5 if you want to call it "the most underrated play" on this board. I've seen that play mentioned 20+ times round here.

I'm afraid you're wrong. We would have gone for two again on the next touchdown. The score could have been 31-28, 29-29, 30-27, or 28-27, depending on how many two-point conversions succeeded.

Besides, you're missing the point. Obviously, if we didn't convert, we were putting ourselves in a hole. What I'm arguing is that the second point did not end up being that valuable at the end, unless you count added pressure. If it had come down to 4th-and-goal, then it would have been crucial.
