Most underrated play of 2012 season

  • When thinking of the SEC Championship game I don't think of Yeldon's first down prior to Cooper's td as under appreciated. I would have to say Clinton-Dix's interception with 1:30 to go in the first half is under appreciated. That interception stopped a scoring drive by UGA and lead to the Alabama FG before half. Instead of going into the half behind UGA we went into the locker room with the lead.

  • Cooper made a touchdown catch early in the year against one of the Mississippi teams, where he simply out leaped the defender and snatched the ball out of the air for the TD.

This was big in my mind for two reasons. First, it was the first really spectacular play I saw him make, and it gave an inkling of just what a great athlete he was and hinted at the great things to come. It also showed that AJ could put the ball anywhere in the general vicinity, and Cooper was going to come down with the ball, as we saw later when he took it away from Rambo in the SEC Championship game.
