For clarification, my issue is with it being on the sidelines, representing Alabama. Not the word, the abbreviation, or Mark Ingram as a person. I just don't think that belongs on the sideline of my school. That's all.

You should do your best to stay off the sideline and avoid all contact with the team. Your wholesome little fantasy might not survive otherwise.

Everyone is allowed their opinion. However if you take issue with what Mark, or anyone else, is wearing then BSEan is correct you should avoid those situations. Being a former football player for the tide doesn't change that, though I appreciate your contribution very much so.

I LOVE seeing hypocrisy at its finest. And double-standards. And ridiculousness in action.

Some of the differences come down to how people view Alabama football. To me it's almost sacred. No, it is sacred, and using "mf" in the middle of "Roll Tide" is more offensive than the actual word. Everyone says "mf". Only a few say Roll Tide. I'd rather keep the cheap 7th grade auburn style cool guy foul language out of my Roll Tide.

Excuse me, youngsters. I'm headed into the R rated movie....that uses grown up language...and is really cool, and popular, and, yeah, it's awesome. If only grown up language was allowed on BOL...life would be perfect. You ask, what do I want for Christ-mas? Well, to be able to use various forms of "the f-word" on BamaOnline, of course.
