While I think there was some dirty dealings going with Cam, I'm glad I stopped worrying about this a long time ago. Yeah, it'd be funny to see them stripped of the NC, but in my eyes if Bama would have taken care of business last year this wouldn't even matter. I'll admit that I read them, and sometimes I bought into the story they were spinning. Here are now the facts:

No sack race
No Cam Newton payments
No loss of National Title
No scholarship losses
No bagman
No HBO 4
No great revelations

Do I think he was paid? Yes I do. If people were merely reporting what they heard then all is forgiven. But for all of the losers that wanted to meet people at bars to fight them; they need to eat the biggest pile of crow ever. I think it should also be required that they wear Wal-Mart jerseys in shame for the rest of the season.

I would like to think that this will finally put to rest the 11 months of utter obsession that the original Cam story unleashed on Bama message boards everywhere...but I know better. The true believers and conspiracy theorists are already stirring.
