I think they got off light. NCAA could have easily thrown LOIC at them considering that their AD was the biggest infractor, they were already on probation and it involved football and mens basketball.

I'm a senior at UCF, but grew up a Bama fan. The athletic director was fired as soon as administration found out, and the NCAA so much as admitted coaches knew nothing. On top of that UCF limited scholarships the last three years as a self imposed penalty. The biggest problem is that against advice of some smart people I'm close to, UCF turned all evidence over to the NCAA.If they had called Auburn they would have gotten some good tips :-)
It's not hard to blame them for being upfront with the NCAA considering that the AD had already lied to NCAA investigators.
This is pretty big for them. They were the favorites to win the C-USA this year and now they're not even eligible to play in the championship game. Of course, that was based on the solid defenses they've had in recent years. Roof might ruin that...
