Just for discussions sake:
IF (which I don't think will happen) PSU does get the boot for this crap, does anybody else get the feeling the B1G would only do so with a replacement already in mind. Seems they worked pretty hard to get to 12 and get the championship game, so just kicking out a team - especially as valuable as PSU is - and losing the 12 team/conference championship game would be a big setback.
So, IF they do kick PSU out, who replaces them. The only team that I can think of that would be an even trade, if not a slight improvement, is Notre Dame. Could this, possibly, be the perfect storm that gets ND in the B1G? The B1G would be desperate, and ND would smooth over a lot of crap - so maybe the concede whatever ND wants to get them in? The only other teams that would fit would be Syracuse and Pitt, which neither would do much, except get the number to 12. Texas I am sure would be discussed, but I don't think that would ever happen. So ND is who I'm left with.
