This is nothing like '09 in Pasadena where I got my single ticket for $1,000 3 days before the game (great seat).

My advice: Go lurk on tigerdroppings. Pretend to be an LSU fan and make friends with those stating they have tickets. You should target those that live close to you, though if they were far, there would be less evidence. Ask to watch the SEC CG w/ them. When at their place, you will need chloroform, a clean rag, and nachos. After your victim is subdued, find the tickets and enjoy the nachos as you watch the remainder of the game.

Tickets will drop online about 3 days before. Watch for that. I remember 09' and they were going for $1200/seat in my section then went to $600 before the game. I would think this year $800 sounds like a good deal on the 10-20 yard line. Maybe better after the university delivers the tide pride seats.

Get a room and sit and wait. they will get cheaper online a few days before. Worse case buy one on the street. Two years ago we set on about the 5 yard line and 4 guys bought tickets outside for 75.00 each and only missed the first 2 min of the game.

Josh, that's the route I am taking. I booked a room two months ago in NOLA. However, we are dishing out a lot of money to remodel our home. I just can't see paying $1600 for a 3 1/2 hour ball game. We plan on watching it at Pat O' Brians. It will be a party!

I saw a lot of people selling tickets for face and cheaper outside of the Rose Bowl as well. However, I think this year will be different. There weren't many UA or UT fans making the trip out to Pasadena without a ticket. This year with it being it being a virtual home game for LSU and with many Bama fans living w/i driving distance, there will be many fans that are in NOLA w/o tickets looking to either score one or just watch it in a bar. Hopefully, I'm wrong though.
