Need prayer help for an Auburn friend...

We all have funny stories about "barners" and like to poke fun at them (and they do us as well), but I need some serious help in praying for the son of one of my longest and best friends. Yes, they are an AU family, and, we decided we can't ever talk abut football together, but they are wonderful people all the same. A Christian family and Alabama born and bred, their son is just starting life after college and has his whole life in front of him. However, just a year out of college he has been diagnosed with leukemia and is fighting for his future while undergoing chemo and waiting for a bone marrow transplant.
Please help me pray for some good news and a speedy recovery so they can get back to enjoying us beating up on their football team rather than helping their son fight this battle.
By the way, and to show what good people these are- my own daughter underwent radiation for a brain tumor several years ago and started losing her hair. She is a HUGE Bama fan and wanted a pink Bama hat to cover up her bald spot. Since we don't live in Alabama now and don't have access to Bama gear, they were more than happy, despite their affiliation, to go to the Alabama store in the mall and purchase a hat for her.
Please help me pray for a speedy recovery.

As a parent, and one who dealt with a child with a life threatening illness, life just stops while you are dealing with something like this. I pray I don't have to deal with it again and that none of you do either.

Prayers to you and yours as well. I admit to being too ignorant about leukemia. However, since my friend's son was diagnosed, I have found how prevalent it is.
