Samford's C.J. Irby is an outstanding player who should be on Bama's roster --not Samford's. I saw him quite a bit several years ago in American Legion ball in north Alabama and couldn't believe he wasn't at least going to Wallace-Hanceville (JUCO) to continue his career.

It is a win BUT we had only 2 clean hits going into the 9th. The one they gave Reaves should have been an error on the second baseman. In the 9th 2 errors, 2walks,1infield scored hit and a soft blupper that was ruled a no catch by center fielder we win the game. I hope we can turn this around because with this line up Arkansas could no hit us with there Friday and Saturday starters. Dugas might can prevent that from happening.
