by-law 13.2.3.3 After Completion of Senior Year. An institution may arrange for employment or employ any pro- spective student-athlete (regardless of athletics award winner status), provided the employment does not begin prior to the completion of the prospective student-athlete’s senior year in high school.

i agree. heck, if it was no big deal that Randle or whoever got a job at the governor's office in La., then this shouldn't be an issue.
Or, is this just a kid who was told "you won't have trouble finding a job under work-study" and he just re-interpreted it as something else.
