Although he didn’t provide details, Coach Nick Saban confirmed rumors that that Alabama will build a new weight room over the next couple of years:

Quick addition: It's my understanding that the "old" weight room will be replaced by a new player's lounge, but don't know if that's final yet.

I remember Saban talking about this in the Caravan event in Orlando. It sounds good and I know it will give us an edge in recruiting. Saban seemed worried that other programs were catching up to our standards so we needed to go out and improve our facilities again. That's one thing I love about Saban, he isn't satisfied but always looks for areas to improve.

he said in the Memphis Caravan there would be a new players lounge and a new weight facility etc, so that makes sense

Sounds like he is enrolled, but not cleared. I still don't understand how a University can accept a player, but the NCAA doesn't. Further, i don't understand why it would take the NCAA clearinghouse so long to do these things.

These new facility updates are just what the doctor ordered. Knowing what UT is doing, I was recently thinking about I hope we don't get in that old cycle where we build something like just a very few years ago, and the competition responds with bigger and better and we're left with inferior facilities for several years.
Now under Saban before the competition even finish their upgrades we are already planning more upgrades of even bigger AND better again.......Nick will NOT be out done!

Man. Brandon Hill's scenario is bringing flashbacks of Alfy Hill's runaround and eventual screw-over by the NCAA. Hopefully, they don't jack up Brandon's enrollment.

Seemed like In Hill's recruitment the issue of grades were brought up a lot in articles. Hopefully he'll be cleared and make it in this summer.

That's a pretty decent list, but IMO Arkansas has the best one in the SEC and maybe the country. It's 38,000 sq ft on two levels.
