same experience with Georgia fans.
I got along with most everyone, even had some ND fans shake my hand and congratulate us as they were leaving in the second and third quarter.
Now the good stuff-
We chanted "you can't do that!" When they had their penalties to start the game. Fast forward to when TJ's first down got called back for holding and this guy 3 seats down sarcastically copies us and flips me off. I just laughed, pointed at the scoreboard and told him we'll prob run for a first right here...we did. He looked suicidal.
Same guy gets pissed at the SEC chant after the conference video plays and says the SEC sucks, it's just media bias, and we're a bunch of dumb rednecks. His dad said "SON! It's 35 to nothing, I think they proved it!" He kept on so I said "It's cool, you don't like being left out, cheer for your conference." Then I stood there staring at him holding up 7 fingers.
Another guy tells me in the beer line in the 3rd quarter that they would have won if we hadn't payed off the damn refs. I said yeah and it probably would have been a lot closer if Te'o had played. He said he's been out there the whole time. I said no wonder he's so good! He's invisible because nobody's seen him all night!
Was anybody else as excited as me when you saw number 6 make a play? Getting to yell HaHa! really burned all the domers around us!
I always thought I'd never encounter a worse fan base than LSU, but do any of you remember the Va. Tech crowd in Atlanta a few years back? They were snobby as hell (for no good reason, because they suck).
I only watched from my living room, but just about every ND female I saw was ugly, and I mean bad ugly.
These southern girls got us spoiled down here with their looks.
